If you got a minute to talk about this, I am having the same issue. Hey I sent you a friendf request for a DM! Not sure though if anyone keeps any openly accessible server online. One could disable key verification in the source code to completely ignore "fake" or repeated keys. It is however possible to run your own Massgate server.
You still won't be able to use "online" option to connect to Massgate. Since it won't connect to official servers any key passing basic validation that game client does will probably do. I'd have to dig out my DVD copy of the game to check that but I'm too lazy ) Since Massgate is dead, GOG probably just removed them all togheter since they don't make much sense anymore.Īs for registry entries it probably was available there once someone did type it in in game or maybe original/older version kept it there.
I saw screens in other topics where there actually was cdkey option in "more" menu in GOG Galaxy.
Also it's not a The Witcher 3 thread ) It might keep it somewhere else (if at all).
